Personally, I just wanted to be the first comment on Smodcast 37.

The word bikini is actually named after “Bikini Atoll” the fashion designer who made the bikini named it after the nuclear test site because he wanted to ride on the popularity of “Bikini Atoll” so the word bikini derives from no real meaning.
