Where we're at:
Jack Datsun leads a double life. By day he hangs out with his friend Vinny over at Combustible Orange, and by night he is Action Datsun (but not really), which constitutes hanging out here at Movie Poop Shoot alongside a talking rabbit hallucination that isn't named Frank and a girl whose name we don't know.
After dropping out of college, Jack spent the better part of an unspecified length of time hiding in the dorm of a former girlfriend. Jack has however re-entered college and is currently tangling with his new room mate, Pantsless Biff and his new nemesis: The Evil College Dean.
Ramble:
Action Datsun is a spin-off strip of Combustible Orange, which was originally aimed more at media parody, though the roles of the strips has changed over time. Initially drawn by Combustible Orange co-creator Eric Vinyard, who then passed artistic duties over to Brian Churilla (with backup from Eric Erbes and Jim Keplinger of Ted Noodleman fame). Brian then went off to draw "graphic novels" for a "company" (oo fancy) and Erwin Haya has taken over.
Action Datsun has won two awards, the record for "most artists for a single strip" at Movie Poop Shoot (surpassing Monkey Man), as well as least frequently updated strip at the 'shoot.
Erwin Haya lives in California somewhere, where he has been known to draw bikini models draped over cars and children's books. Frank Gibson has been writing Combustible Orange for two years and is also a radio DJ, he lives in the fabled jungles of New Zealand in "the hatch" from Lost.
