Anyone watch "The Screen Savers" on TechTV for the past two days?
They're doing some pretty nice hacks on the XBOX.
Almost makes me want to go out and buy one. Ahhhh...It reminds me when I used to mod my playstation and dreamcast /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Simple, the Xbox uses the same standard kind of hard drive your PC uses, you need nothing more than to rip it out, plug it into your PC and use a hex editor (so far as I know, I'm no hacking wiz) to screw around with the save files or insert your own commands.

They've been trying to hack it since it's release and are finally getting results. Most recently, some pervert spent countless hours making all the Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball characters "anatomically correct."

now that sounds funny, surprised he didn't do something like make bikinis that just consist of flesh colur with two nipple textures. anyone who gets their jollies from bouncing rendered mammorys is quite sad......okay I admit I own DOA2, but thats cause of the innovative technical fighting system and counterattacking. HONESTLY!!! /forums/images/icons/blush.gif

Yea, i heard you can make it so that you can burn games onto your xbox, just rent em and you got them for life. Probably need a bigger drive to fit everything though.....

A man that works for me currently set up his XBox to work as a Tivo. Odd, but true.

Here is my one claim to associated fame. My best-girlfriends brother is the Chief XBOX (CXO) officer for Microsoft. That makes me 1 degree from the big dog. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif Robert Bach, CXO (http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/exec/rbach/default.asp) Wish I liked video games more!

I saw that episode... there is a website that sells some mod chips for the xbox that lets you save entire games to it so you dont have to use the disk
