I can live with them winning the day, I dont think they would ever kill off bond or XXX cause of the amount of people that go to see them, I wouldn't mind (in mostfilms in general) to see the goodguys get their ass kicked badly even if they still win the fight, thats wh yi hate stuff like Segall and jet li films too, cause they never get hit, at least jackie chan in say "rumble in the bronx" totally defensless when they lobbed bottles at him, and he was scared of them still later in the movie, a good ass kicking at least implies a slight realism.

Oh sure, it would be fun to see bond get shot in the middle of the movie, right in the forehead by some random thug with a lucky shot and no overly creative name... but then wouldn't you want your money back?

One of the reasons I loved Mystery Men so much was because they fail, big time. Sure, ultimately they pull their ass from the fire, but not without irreversibly screwing up big time.

I would pay some seriously good money to see Bond die. and die and die and die and never have to live through yet another of that overly tired franchise.

Yea, but then the movie would revolve around the gimmick of him getting killed, much like Jason Goes to Hell, and we all know how that turned out: he returned anyway to enact abhorrent vengeance on the movie-going public in the form of Jason X.

OMARU,

In order to see the Protagonist taking a savage sh*tk*ck*ng, I recommend a much-maligned film, THE PUNISHER(TM) (1989), starring MR. DOLPH LUNDGREN.

Alternatively, there is also another under-rated picture starring HERR CHRISTOPHER WALKEN, titled THE DOGS OF WAR(TM) (1980).

I love when Homer is the cause of James Bond's death. That was awesome.

I think it would be cool if Bond just got caught in the middle of a gang war and was hit by a stray bullet.....or tripped and fell off a cliff.

Henchmen can only shoot right when the directors have a reason for it. Otherwise, they're just there for the heroes to look good while kicking their asses.

Id like that where the bad guys kill the good guy but then the good guys cousin comes and knows magic and brings the good guy back to life.

Or this same old same old senario. The good guy gets shot but this was not the good guy but a clone created as a deversion for the good guy to slip un-noticed inside the enemy base camp. I hate movies where the good guy might aswell be invincible. It adds to much of a falsism about the movie. I enjoy a movie that brings you into a big story line and you can relate to it because its not some big blown out of proportion action film like XXX. I prefer something like Along Came a Spider.

I loved how in Mission Impossible, Emelio Estevez dies in less than five minutes of the movie starting. And who can forget his brother, Charlie Sheen's death in Young Guns? Good guys need to die more often.

Yes. And they should have more films where the bad guys are the main characters, and the good guys loses in the end.

Yes I agree I rekon if James Bond was a bad guy it would put a whole new twist on things.
