rather than bitch about the crapness of dc, mc's and god knows what other food chains (subways anyone?) I'll actually answer the questions. I think the films should be independant of smallville, but I havent been a big fan of the second series, best episode shown here in UK so far was the red kryptonite where Clark was carefree and without moral consequence.
If they made a doomsday film they should probably incorporate the character into smallville since he has to be one of clarks friends who always wondered why he was better than him.
Lastly Batman vs Superman? I dont really see the point technically all supes would have to do is give it the old laser treatment and bruce is bat-dust. Sounds stupid but then thinking about it superheroes probably have a shitload of enemies who could/should upstage them.
