View Full Version : I have a confession to make...

...I am completely, hopelessly, utterly addicted to Iron Chef. Tonight they are battling with an ingredient called "Tokyo X." Yes that's right, TOKYO X! Apparently that's a very rare Japanese pork, not a hidden character in Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters.

At least I admit I have a problem. Anyone else have anything they want to fess up?

2) I own a Robbie Williams album... there I've said it. /forums/images/icons/blush.gif

Demosthenes is my new hero.

And liking Avril Levigne's cd has got to be worse than liking Robbie Williams' cd...

I dont know...
I mean, maybe if we swapped genders it would be ok.
Atleast we could use the excuse of "I just have it cuz I think he/she is hot" then

Excusan. I am completely with you on Iron Chef. It has gotten so bad that I actually turn it on at others peoples houses while we are drinking to have as background noise instead of music. Weird.

I saw "Never been kissed" with Drew Barrymore twice in a row. Michael Vartan and Drew are just too cute together...

Did I say that out aloud ? /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif

Ouch how can I say this...I havent seen clerks, and well I have seen everything else, I know its stupid and sad and almost like saying "I've done everything with a girl except kissed her" cause kiss would be a good first time experience which leads to greater things, just as Clerks was first time exp and lead to greater things. Anyway I AM going to buy clerks before I get any other film.

Secondly: I not only saw Titanic in the Cinema, I went to see it again because I at the time thought it was a good film. Oh Repent!! REPENT!!!!

/forums/images/icons/crazy.gif I'm sorry I must admit that last one was pretty sad!.. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif
...just kidding but some of those were pretty weird (example:
-how could u not see clerks but all the rest of them?!, just playin with ya)
Anyways I wonder what those Tokyo X things from Iron Chef were all about where they genetically altered or what?

No way - I had the chance to throw out my New Kids on the Block cassettes from 7th grade last week and didn't. Threw them into the nostalgia pile.

I have a few hetro male-crushes: from understandable (tom welling, hugh jackman) to average (jason lee) but luckily no really fubar ones, its not really a crush but more an admiration of facial features...at least thats what I think I should call it. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

O.K. I watch Trading Spaces. A lot. I mean everyday a lot. My girlfriend and I don't go out on Sat. until both episodes are over(10:00) and I'm the one that got HER into it. There I said it. I also owned a Crash Test Dummies CD. My deepest secrets.....I didn't like the Superman movies and I thought Watchmen was highly overrated. I will now hide my head in shame.

LOL the Poop Shoot Confessional is turning out to be quite an interesting read.

Let's see I have another.

I'm addicted to DDRMAX (Dance Dance Revolution) for the PS2. Not with the footpad I'm too lazy for that much work, but I love playing it with the controller.

I'm also a Neopets addict. I don't even remember how that all started but I log on everyday now.

I feel so dirty now lol. I thought confession was supposed to make you feel better lol.

I have a copy of "Listen Without Prejudice Vol.1" by George Micheal, and I like it.

>>I'm addicted to DDRMAX (Dance Dance Revolution) for the PS2. Not with the footpad I'm too lazy for that much work, but I love playing it with the controller.

Man that IS lazy. What is the point without the sweating and the exhaustion and the feeling like you are in terrible shape?

If you like DDR with a controller have you played Frequency / Amplitude?

Outer1
04-09-2003, 05:03 PM
I am so incredibly uncoordinated that I would probably hurt myself or someone else if I tried to play on the footpad LOL.

I have played Frequency and its fun but for some reason I just am not that good at it. I can beat the hardest song on DDR but can't seem to get too far on demo I have of Frequency. I will probably pick it up at some point in the future. Although DDRMAX2 comes out in the fall so I'm sure I'll be playing that one as well.

I see you got your avatar working finally.

>>I see you got your avatar working finally.

Well it was working to me initially. It was a picture of myself, but then on this computer I'm on here it did not show up and I realized it is because the picture was from my homeage on geocities, which always has problems with this sort of stuff. So I changed it that nifty MPS thing, least until I can find a logo for my column that doesn't look hideous when it gets smooshed down to that size.

I never considered myself an ultra star wars geek, but in January I drove 4 1/2 hours to Washington D.C. just to see Star Wars on an IMAX screen. I was going to go to NYC (2 1/2 hrs.) until I read the night before that they just started playing the Lion King on their screens.

When I came back I felt so weird, an epiphany that my geek side was not hidden to the world at all.

I rented J&SBSB, and havent returned it yet...That was over a year ago. I downloaded Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, and Dogma. So I have all of kevins movies, having paid for none of them. Im not proud of it, and i am sure one day i will buy them to make up for my evil ways.

Outer1

Yea Geocities doesn't allow remote image hosting. Most people complain about having to pay for an image host, but most of them are pretty cheap and if you can find one that's fast and reliable it's worth every penny.

I've never quite understood those dance arcade games. "I'm gonna shell out 50 cents so I can... move in place. Couldn't do that before!"

My secret shames are as follows:
I'm addicted to Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. I'm not really ashamed, persay, just always feel the need to explain myself to people when I tell them it's my favorite show. "No, really, it has really good characters and storylines. Really."

People often tell me I have no shame, and I guess it's true since I can't think of anything really shameful at the moment. If I do something deplorable or disgusting I get behind it 100 percent. I do have a few man-crushes though. Jon Stewart, Jason Lee and Jack White just to name a few.

Aaron
04-10-2003, 04:32 PM
Hmmm, I seem to have started a trend with the man-crush thing.
Is that in itself a confession?
Dude, this is getting deep...

What would happen though if (lets say) Joshua Jackson turns round and says that he has a man-crush on me also?
Does this then go into scary deliverance-style running or just a show of mutual respect?

DangerSeeker
04-11-2003, 05:33 PM
Nothing at all wrong with being addicted to Angel and Buffy. I'm wondering if there's any man-crushes for Angel floating around out there. Personally, I'm hooked on Anya, which is a crush-crush. Xander's a fool.

As for using the controller on DDR, I used to bypass the robot on Gyromite and just play by hand. THat little sucker just took too damn long.

Buffy and Angel are great shows. If anyone thinks differently, ask them what their favorite shows are. If they say crap like Friends, slap them in the face. Hard.

A great show would be That 70s Show or Six Feet Under.

That 70s Show a good one...

But actually I'm on a JAG / CHARMED / Sue Thomas, FBEye / Mutant X serie...

Ooups... Watching too much TV ? /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Matt1
04-11-2003, 10:55 PM
Angel is a bit too thick for me to have a man-crush on. I like my hetero man-crushes to be a little bit more cerebral.

Six Feet under is a great show. But imagine trying to tell people it was a great show if it had zombies in it.

soundnfury359
04-11-2003, 11:56 PM
I think that a little man-crush is alright, because these people are at the top of the food chain here. As long as you aren't attracted to say, Chris Farley, you're okay.

I'm obsessed with comix, movies, comic book movies(and shows like Smallville, BatmanBeyond, X-Men:Evolution and Batman: The Animated Series), and super hero related stuff.
I even kinda liked Birds of Prey (Ashley Scott is hot).
Has anyone ever watched MMUSA?
That chick on URANIUM is the hottest chick alive!
I listen to Ozzy Osbourne and EMINEM.
