I'll admit here that I kind of liked Saw IV. Haven't watched Saw V yet, waiting for a day in which my young lady is not home.

After watching Saw VI. My friend has decided that it should be considered a comedy. I agree.

It's pure awesomesauce™.
Myself and my friend said the exact same thing after seeing the first Saw in the cinema. The whole franchise is a joke.

I can not watch any of the saw movies after seeing 3 and 4 I don't ever want to see these corny movies again. I don't mean to be a dick but they are terrible. I know I know I suck, but I don't get the appeal to these movies. Now the franchise is up to six and I am sure they are going to go seven next year and Probably to 10 unless they run out of money. I just don't get it. Help me out, explain it to me.

..... Year One. *vomit* *vomit*
....GI Joe. So did they use the same script writer from the cartoon? The action and weapons were pretty cool, but the dialouge was not.

Zombieland. Didn't think it would be as good as it was. Awesome movie. Been too long since a good zombie flick came out. This one is worth checking out.

Aww, Saw III is my favourite in the franchise. Mind, usually I am not a fan of slasher horror, I prefer more mind-challenging types of horror movies. But... well, I liked Saw III because of its sheer toughness. I and II are about being punished for a crime. Vigilante-style. III are about seeing those you love punished for something you did. Mean as ever.
Admittedly, Saw IV is way weaker.

Paranormal Activity.
It was great. I felt really tense all throughout the film. I thought it was genuinely scary. I didn't scare me as much as Texas Cahinsaw Massacre, but it was close. It's without a doubt the scariest movie of the past five years. |

Because it goes beyond everybody's fear of being punished for something they did. It goes under your skin with the "you've done wrong, I'll hurt those you love so you will hurt more and longer". It is like playing chess with death - every pawn you lose is a person you love who dies.
Pah, I'll go back and watch Nightmare on Elm Street.

The idea that any of the Saw movies could get under your skin is very funny to me. They're just torture porn.

That was my attitude too after the first two. And after the fourth. Just a funny (yes, ha-ha funny) and cathartic way to see some gore. But the third one gives it a twist. And they lose it immediately, of course.

... Disturbia. Fun. It was nice to see Carrie-Ann Moss again.
... Beerfest. I was expecting something far worse. But I laughed quite often. May checkout some of Broken Lizards other films. |

I liked it better when it was called Rear Window.

I recommend Super Troopers, don't think I've ever laughed that hard at a movie before or since. You may also want to check out Club Dread seeing as you're such a horror movie buff. It's their send up of the slasher/suspense genre. I personally think it was bad but I have heard others say they like it.
