That is a very cool cover. I was in the comic shop last week and didn't notice anything like it.

So say we all

But wet moon is so devoid of plot, there's fat girl and she's unsure of her body (i think, she could be unsure of how to masturbate given the amount of time she spends looking at her vagoo) and there's a 1,000 other characters who don't seem to get more than a panel's worth of dialogue but continually show up.....

It just seemed to have nothing going for it, in my opinion

Here's Ryan Ottley's cover for issue 2, sans colors.

Sorry, Deviantart link.

He's one of my favorite illustrators. I think he's head and shoulders above McFarlane.

I can't help but think he's constantly shooting arcs of jizz, though. Especially that cover for #2.

"Have some haunted JIZZ!!"

Holy Jesus...I bought it based on the name alone and it was pretty damn good. I like it based on concept alone, the writing is kinda funny too though.

I didn't read it but that's a fantastic cover.

Dark Avengers spoiler:

So is Bendis just going to kill The Sentry every other issue and not explain why he's back? Really annoying. He needs to be permanently dead.

Siege? Isn't that about Osborn's war on Asgard.. I mean terror. Wait, no, I was right the first time

Maybe he's been an asgardian all this time

Actually, the more I think about it, they might use him in the Galactic series...whatever is coming after War of Kings. He's turning into too much of a trump card for osborn.

Maybe that will make him a likable character. He'll probably just cry more than usual.

I had an amazing idea whilst in the comic book store today.

Captain America and Batman are both trapped in the past, right?

How bout Marvel and DC do a crossover and insert the opposite hero into the respective universes?

It would be incredible.

Did I slip into a vortex and end up in the 90's?

Marvel and DC aren't on the best speaking terms right now, so I highly doubt we'll see the likes of Marvel vs DC again (or Amalgam Comics, for that matter)

That's what would make it so perfect. They've been collaborating under the radar and then BAM! Surprise bitches! Mega awesome crossover!

...but its only the pipe dreams of a boy who's lost a lot of faith in the major comics publishers.

EDIT: BTW, I love the pic. He just needs a shield.

New Study Finds Comic Books Are Legitimate Kid's Literature.

I've known this for years, and I'm glad that an academic institute has finally proven it. My friends often ask where I learned a lot of my vocab and I tell them that I learned much of my vocabulary from comics.

I know! I doubt it'll cause any form of u-turn on peoples opinions on comics, but it's nice to see some people aren't as short-sighted as the general populace.
