Stumptown by Greg Rucka was a terrific first issue. I think Greg Rucka is underrated. People should definitely check out his comics and novels. You won't regret it.

Weekly comic review:

Dark Reign: Ares (1 of 3)

Good start to the series, very well written from an author that I'm not all too familiar with. I hope the next two are as good.

Star Wars: Legacy #41

Ah, they finally mention the Mandalorians...good stuff, I hope they give this at least another 2 issues.

X-Men - Origins: Iceman

Regrettable buy. Just another origin story, nothing new, nothing noteworthy. Don't bother reading.

House of M: Masters of Evil (3 of 4)

I just love this series. It mirrors Utopia so well and I love the Hood as the anti-hero.

The Mighty #10

Dramatic turn in the series. Can't say I didn't see it coming though. Tomasi couldn't just make a Irredeemable clone, I guess.

Batman: The Widening Gyre (3 of 6)

Good, solid comic. I like where its going. Glad that this one didn't end on the same negative note that the first two did.

Black Widow: Deadly Origin #1

Easily my pick of the week. Great comic.

Haunt #2

Kirkman writing? MacFarlane finally doing some good inking? Possession and ultra-violence? Yes to all. Great comic.

Secret Six #15

No more Gail Simone. Still a good comic though. I was a little disappointed that the issue only focused on Deadshot and not the rest of the six, but it was a good story.

Captain America: Reborn (4 of 5...er...6)

Hmm...I hope this gets less crazy in the next issue. I've liked it so far and Ed Brubaker hasn't done me wrong, but I can see where this can get stupid very easily.

Star Wars: Invasion #5

A filler issue, just adding a small amount to the story, nothing really great here. I will continue to read only because I am a rabid fanboy.
