mpMann began his comics career inking Gerard Jones and Will Jacobs' The
Trouble With Girls (Malibu Graphics). After a decade's absence he returned
in 2002 with a 240 page silent comic strip and two related flipbook
animations in Mark Meadows' Pause and Effect: The Art of Interactive
Narrative (New Riders). This was quickly followed by appearances in several
small press publications and a year long stint as the illustrator of Lisa R
Jonte's Arcana Jayne: Hair of the Dog (Girlamatic.com). Most recently Mann's
and writer A. David Lewis' original black and white graphic novel The Lone
and Level Sands (Caption Box) has been met with glowing reviews. A second
colored edition will be coming soon from Archaia Studios Press.
